Get Up

They say when you fall from Grace

It’s a long hard tumble and a thud to the bottom

But

Rising again through twisting thorny vines

Straightening a broken spine

Squandered alongside an equally broken spirit

Renders the most beautiful portrait in the world -

A reflection of Self in the clearest of waters...

So f*** the ones that say to stay the course

Those that preach from their privilege

Because Hell is beautiful when you climb out from the Fire

Burned, bruised, sore, sordid

I
