Just in a writing mood...
Darkness envelops a peaceful night Stars shinning in the blank blanket Figures dance from the sky above Warriors and objects share the stage Animals, imagined and real, in the same pasture All there to see for the watchful eye Crickets sing in the evening air Breezes blow a cold breath A patient mind feels them all Quiet from the darken houses Mingles with the chatter of animals Taking the nightly stroll in the silence The only bur to this natural peace In the mind of a serene soul Is a lonely car on the country road

yes enjoyed the imagery here
and the line, last line "is a lonely car on a country road"
that gives images in itself!!!

Well, this is what you get when you live in the boonies! It is nice to be able to step out onto the porch and see whatever star you want with the naked eye! They always look like you can reach out and grab them! Great Write!
