In the recent days following the US presidential election, my friends and I have been discussing moving to Canada. This is my feelings in the aftershock.
A simple thing really
A push, punch, or check
On a card or a screen
The voice of many
In a view, true or not
Of the future four years
Basic reality
In one day's time
Effects more then one man
Hope turns scary
In the dark hours
Of late morning results
Pack in a hurry
Anything that will fit
For the long road north
Where equality
Is found, not only law,
But in humanity
