Sleeping dragon arise from your lake bed
You can hide no longer from prying eyes
Your fiery breath and glowing eyes are called
So bring forth your ancient majesty

Silent unicorn emerge from your forest
Your lush trees are doomed to be razed
Your serenity and peace are needed
So bring forth your timeless wisdom

Buried giant arise from your deep grave
Your tomb is plotted for new growth
Your perspective and strength are feared
So bring forth your unmatchable power

Trolls, goblins, gnomes, fairies and such
Your secrets are out in the open air
Your special traits and scandals are coveted
So bring forth your unseen magic

Our world has lost faith in your lessons
The old tales lost and the new meaningless
Your solid truth and gray lies are seared
So bring forth your endless teachings

You never cease to amaze me with your writing! This poem could be the outlook of an adult or it could show the harsh reality of youth. It could also just be the musings of someone in their late life. Any way you chose to look at it it's a wonderful poem!
