Too many long lonely nights Away from the comfort of home Have seeped into my life Like a poison in my blood Causing countless sleepless hours Staring at the blank ceiling That darken not only my eyes But my disposition as well And misplaced priorities Stealing away valuable time That can never again be found Or replaced with new events Vice enriched lifestyles Encouraging the easy roads That are cracked and broken But always well populated

Very accurate description of a life taken over by "misplaced priorities"
and vice, they always end up "cracked and broken". Honest and strong piece of work!
