By the lake, I am soothed and refreshed, renewed with purpose...
Overhead these poplar trees
Rustle in this lakeside’s breeze.
High above, these clouds drift by,
And still higher, this bluest sky:
Every leaf’s edge is traced;
Countless greens are laced,
Interwoven by this lovely light,
All shining, all lustrous, bright.
The lake itself, calm and smooth,
Our troubled world would soothe.
Still, I must rest now, I must sleep,
Though I’ve promises, too, to keep.
I hope to arise, refreshed and keen
To help our woeful world’s unseen:
Everyone—every needy being,
Each with a song, everyone singing.
You have me singing praises of this comforting view of lakeside wonders that are there for us all if we just take the time to enjoy them and sing along.

Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
