One of two notices of this problem fall

Now that I'm 95 I do have a problem or two.

My balance is off and I fall when I least expect it.

Yesterday I fell and my son could not get me up.

He called the Police Dept and they sent two officers.

In a matter of seconds they had me on my feet

And guided me over to my lounge chair.

I could not thank these officers enough

For the assistance they gave me.

That's what 911 is for. Officers do much more good work like this then fight crime. And fighting crime is quite boring, mostly surveillance. Helping people in crisis is exciting and rewarding for them.

Long before I reached your rightful age, I was told by my doctor to, "get in a wheelchair for your own safety." So I did, 25 years ago and haven't fallen out of the chair yet. But before I took the smart move, I fell and tripped many times and rushed off to the emergency room bleeding for stitches, over 200 or so in my forehead from broken plastic lens glasses.

But since I've been an electric wheelchair and gotten stuck, at least twice, friendly policeman have come to my aid.

Those were some fine officers who came to your assistance, George! Many meds cause vertigo so be careful when bending or turning. I care, George.

Love ya!
