Though I have never seen any seascapes painted by him, your painting reminds me of the work of the English Victorian painter, Samuel Palmer. There is always a spiritual light in his paintings, as there is in your poem and painting.
Life is full of winds and waves, and each one reaches Scary Point at some time along their journey--usually many times. I'm not sure if you are calling hope the saviour, or calling the Saviour hope. Either way, it works because we certainly need hope in stormy times, and we surely need our Saviour to give us that hope, and see us through the storms.
