I can so relate to this. It is and isn't a block. Sometimes I go long periods without writing, until I get some type of inspiration and then it all flows. But the block I get as well as the problems in life that arise always lead to better days and poetry. Thanks again.

My mind gets blocked and I can wrack my brain and nothing there to write about. All at once an inspiration comes to me to put it to words. Not an expert but like to try and succeed.

I tend to have a painter or pastel artist's block. It is a matter of looking at the stool, it being the first obstacle, and forcing myself to sit upon it. Once I have achieved this, then it's on with the headphones and the music does the rest - I am away.
With writer's block, I am new to poetry and so far, I still have a large enough repository of ideas to draw upon.
This list is affirmation that we are all prone to a pen run aground.
