I come to peace with myself and not to pieces.

The human eye is so fragile,

and sees things and people as fragments,

which are easily broken as an eggshell is.

First,it sees the body then the face.

The soul is the very last it sees if at

all.

The mind can never comprehend how

a careless word said may distort the self

image of a human being.

The power lies in the connection,

hope and need of the person,

what the giver of a cruel word

means to her.

The closer to the heart one is,

the more power the other has

to use, the more careless he

may become with them.

A stranger's words are like a bee

which only stings for the moment

and then dies but you still survive.

Your identity is still intact.

I come to peace with myself and not

to pieces. - Whole

That's the best we can do. Pick up the pieces and move on. At least that's what poem tells me.
