Cinnamon moon candles tangerine sky,
Sand-whispered caress of lost lover’s name.
With message borne, try to rekindle flame
Against hope, loose jess, send red hawk to fly.
Gold oasis hides azure pool, my cries
Tan shadows mock, murmurs remembered name,
Ripe dates' sweet perfume cannot cover shame,
Hubris cloaked duty, worn like a fool's disguise.
Apricot mists ghost across pale beige gloom,
Enfold my mind as raw hashish clouds thought.
Promises broken, destiny kept while
Memory swirls as baleful night shades bloom.
Might life return back to how it was sought?
