When the dust settles 

                                               Will there still be land?

                                                    If the clouds fade

                                                 Will the rain still fall?

                                            If the flowers fail to bloom

                                          Will we long for their beauty?

                                                If the trees fail to grow

                                  Will we miss the comfort of their shade?

                                                When the hatred stops

                                                   Will the love begin?

                                          When there is no more greed

                                              Will there then be peace?

                                         When one has done all he can

                                       Will he then be asked to do more?

                                               When time is running out

                                                  Will we pray for more?

                                               If life becomes a struggle

                                              Will we long for better days?

                                                          When unsure

                                                 Will we trust and believe?
