Washed by the sands of time

                                     Entangled in the web of hope

                               Forbidden to partake of the splendor

                                          Forced to view from afar

                             Delegated to receive less than the rest

                                       Deprived of all things worldly

                                  Even stripped of dignity and pride

                                          Pushed and forced aside

                                Asked, "For what reason do you still

                                                   Choose to live?"

                                   The reply was simple yet powerful
