Who be the wisest?
Most of us have heard the phrase;
"dumb as a box of rocks" ha!
When thought of, one might have deducted that it is a clever and accurate discription of someone who possess little to no intelligence what so ever.
A rock however, may think differently.
For a rock has discovered the secrets of life long before man could form the word "ignorance."
A rock has learned to be silent within itself, as it has stood the test of time.
The elements and atoms that make up man are locked within its shapes,
and hold the wisdom of the universe and heavens.
They have lived to be the brightest stars, then travelers to corners of the universe unknown, only then to be pummeled into sand, and trodden on by man and beast.
And to think that there are a box of them could boggle the minds of man's wisest, rendering them into stupidity.
