cowardice

my way of coping...



cowardice..

shame is what i oft tymes feel
when thinking back
lyke looking at an old
eight millimeter reel
things i should have
seen
given strength to those who
mean
so much i did not
do
looked the other way
making others pay
for my cowardice...

sounds human to me, that underlying and hard to deny yellow streak that we have. it gets the best of us sometimes.
