I dedicate my poem 'Heavenly Bliss' to J.K.Roseline, the lady of my inspiration. I have never seen or heard her voice, but the power of her magic words inspire me to reveal my hidden talents in poetic creation. Like me, more are waiting for the touch of her inspiration through her new volume 'Bouquet of Roses'...

Poem Artwork

HEAVENLY BLISS

The Dark cloud creeps away
Dancing the nature in golden rays
Darkness slithers away from me
Presence of an intimate one,
As a gentle breeze to my life

In the journey of mortal life
Art moans to the inner mind, feebly
To deliver my poetical creation
As a lady of inspiration
She puts her hand on my shoulder
Her touch blooms my art
With joys of the rolling tears

God’s enchanting gift sleeps in me
I turn against that unknown power
She holds my hand to scribble
Colorful words of innate power
And knocks my mind to know,
What a poem means?

Books pile up in her world
Absorbing the beauty in the surroundings
Penned the fine art of heaven
Mother of my art, she is
My heavenly inspiration
Leading me to an eternal path
And fame from her artistic furnace

Start to taste the heavenly bliss
Hidden in my inner world
As a follower of her words
Now, the gift has grown
Found the way she travelled

The blessed home where she lives,
Smiling as a spotless rosapu (rose)
Never seen her lovely face, yet
Never heard her sweetly voice
But she loves and quenches
My thirst for a sisterly bond

Rest of my life I wish
To admire god’s creation
Never lose the beloved seed
You sowed in me, my friend
And our intimate bond.

Chinchu,
Yes I am touched to know that you loved to be influenced by my work and then you opened the sweet crucible of your mind, learnt to hear and unfurl the thoughts of your soul in poetic words. May you evolve and reach more heights.
I am humbled and feel blessed by this your renderings of me.You live in my heart.J K Roseline

Yes, I shared friendship and mutual interests reinforced by a deep commitment to the arts. A wonderful tribute to a fellow author who you have only known through correspondence like so many others, inspired in the past, but never--yet--to meet.

I hope a meeting can be arranged soon. JK has not posted recently. I hope she is well.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
