The poem has been published in my first book ...COLOR OF MY SOUL....
Crystal Blue Lake
The soft morning wind flows down the red cliff of the mesa, it awakens the birds and gently caresses the deserts flowers. The clouds slowly part and shafts of sunlight illuminate the tops of the cottonwood trees, and slowly make their way down to the desert floor. So like your love, awakening me to the never-changing cycle of life.Have I lived?Did I know you? Was I caressed by your gentle spirit on some distant planet eons ago?Does it matter?Have I found you again?Your soul drifts into being.Your love consumes me, love that flows over the emptiness to those who can remember times long ago. I am sitting on the shore of the crystal blue lake that flows over from your eternal being.I thought I was alive, what is this feeling?I am sitting on the shore of the crystal blue lake.
Sitting on the shore of Crystal Blue Lake, your poetic experience reminds me how nature renews our spirit if we choose to let its tranquility baptize us.
