My inspirateional poem, came to be,from so many levels.

Ode to a vampire

Once i met a man.I remember him, it was, a cold autumn night his breath upon my skin so intense, his whispered,to my soul like fire. he slowly touched me with desire, within my vein my ignorance heart fell in love like autumn leafs, falls to the ground. He offered his wisdom of pleasure. like a sip of wine. i drank of his love as one dying of thirst. he showed me pain, he gave me desire, he found my soul so i gave of myself freely i lost myself in him like a woman in need, i felt his grip it slowly strangled my very existence, i touched his open wounds it burned like lava i kissed his hungry lips, a feeling i never felt before. . once i met a man .his touch were intense, he had no fear his wisdom was like an guilty death he gave me his flesh so i might suffer, i welcomed his hunger as i was forced to die. i understand pain.i understand passion i understand hate and love. He was my love of life,my death, jury an executioner. he was my sweet lover. he seduced my mind so i gave him the sweetness of my skin .He found my soul so i promised him i stay forever, i cant leave him now. its to late,he is the man of my life my only one love my vampire.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
