 Seed

 

   

 

 

I am not far

Whispering windy words

From where I dream and desire

Feeling your presence

Is warmly embracing fire

That I cherish

Of you

 

 

 

Over here

Seed of a plumb

Vying to root and flourish

In the moist soil near the tree

Whence I am… among the plumbs

Perhaps Unnoticed and laden

With uncertainty

 

 

 

Defined, I am this that I am

Confined by sweet flesh and skin

I am a bit subdued and I Know

My chances to flourish are

Few

 

 

 

Nevertheless, this demise

Does not define me

Nor restrict my heart…

I love you
