Inspired by my favorite singer, John Denver.
Making music in the mountains With guitar and old banjo. Making music in the sunshine Singin' songs of long ago. We sit beneath the aging pines And watch the water in streams flow Making music in the mountains Without a care or woe. The sounds are so inviting As the music mingles with a breeze And sails on up into blue sky Flitters through the trees. A life of leisure, sun, and song So far the only life I know Making music in the mountains Just waitin' on life to come and go....
