Because war is just about the worst thing that can happen to mankind.
History repeats itself
Oh why can we not put war on the shelf?
As a book that says, "Come take a look...and you will not want war
anymore."
Just take a look,
A real good look
At how our world shook
With anger and hate
and no escape...
It's getting a little late--
Or is it?
It seems to me there is always time...
Yours and mine
For a dirty little thing called war.
Ever notice there doesn't seem to be time for
PEACE? And why is that?
There is never any time left.

Penni,As long as people believe the propaganda they are told, there will be wars. Pity we are not told the all facts, so that we may decide for ouyselves. Great way you have asked the question, lets hope someone eventually has the answer.

It would be nice if we could just simply put wars away to a place where we lock it and throw away the keys...but then again, I know I'm only dreaming...
