scurrying, hurrying all around.

yellow fields, golden harvests
promising work for the farm,
a cornhusk wreath upon the door
exudes a country charm.

jars of jellies and fruity jams,
accompany loaves of fresh bread.
kittens have found the sewing basket
tossing about bright thread.

cinnamon and apples smells
waft throughout the air,
blue ribbon prize-winning pies
for the autumn faire.

don't forget those pumpkins
which are a pivotal part of the season's charm,
that thrives and survives each and every year...
upon a country sampler farm.
