Outshining all other pinpoints of light
His star blazed through Bethlehem's quiet night.
Beaming with rapture
As if to capture
All who viewed its glorious site.
'Twas a sign that He hath come
As a king just a babe from
Little Bethlehem, tiny place
City host of His Grace
Not noticed by all but some.
His star, great star, guiding beam
Led three wise men out of their dream.
Their wonderment pleased
Their efforts appeased
For they understood the meaning of that gleam.
Those who gazed at Bethlehem's starry sky
Could not help from seeing what stood high...
His star, most radiant of them all
Shining with glory o're a humble stall
Where within did the sweet babe lie.
Only a King's star would shine so bright
As it did that most special night.
For a world so lost and forlorn
That eve their only hope was born
Beneath the magic of a heavenly light...
His star!

The star of hope! This is a tribute to our baby Jesus and a wondrous poem

Written with conviction. You know, regarding the star called "Bethlehem", it occured in the days when the calendar only had 10 months in the year. It wasn't until thousands of years later that January (Janus) and February, which was at the END of December, were added. Info easy to find online by looking up the terms Georgian Calendar, Julian Calendar and Roman Calendar.
All we have is "this day" for each day we live is what matters most.
