"Spaces In Between" is the title poem of my latest collection of poetry, SPACES IN BETWEEN.

The time went by so slowly
While he sat there in the waiting room.
Only minutes had actually passed
Yet it felt like many hours had gone by.
These times of waiting;
Waitng to board a plane,
Waiting for a taxi-cab,
Waiting in the supermarket line,
Made his mind wander and think
Of many things, even daydreams. 
Whole new scenarios came into his head
Of what could and would happen.
One day, he thought, some of
these "spaces in between"
Might at last come true .
