When I long
To fly
To soar
To bank,
And plunge in space
Knowing
How it feels
How it would be,
I know
I am
Primordial memory.

When I delight
In butterfly's flight
In squirrel play
Bird song
Leaf bud
Rose breath
Sunrise
Sunset
Star shine
Thunderhead
And Crash of light sparked violence,
I know I am primordial memory.

Fine poem! This was written the day my son was born, and it reminds me of him. He's autistic...

Nature has a way of doing that to you. Your words are powerful and heartfelt. Very nicely done.

When you do all that you refer to in these lovely verses, you know you will never die. Thank you for this uplifting offering, Addie. Love and peace. Regis

"Primordial memory" is an ongoing saga of one's life. The best is to just soar and take flights or even plunge and smell the roses, hear the birds sing and enjoy life to your fullest; for when crash of light sparked violence we become primordial memories.

Good philosophical write.
