Now, here's a find for a dreary afternoon of searching for a poem on several sites that's worth reading, pondering and sending back some thoughts. Well, you scored high on all counts. Succinctly profound in its simplicity of structure, lyrically flowing with just enough play on words to make the point. Loved this one.

Perspective is EVERYTHING
and great is the soul
that can see from many perspectives.

it's so true we have to see around our parameters and then perhaps we can focus on life's hidden angles and play around its curves ...
oh this makes me think of the
different types of curves we can run into
or trip over, imagine if the curve was a marble ball
and as we vision.........we can reflect!

Ah! let me get things into perspective...ha! not a chance lol, another superb write Kate, seeing as only a poet can see. Perspective has nothing to do with the minds eye, such an alien concept would make things uneasily boring...Sheesh! I've got to lay off the absinthe lol.
Good one Kate perspective though is all in how you look at things and you obviously lool at things in a deep retrospective sort of way then wrap up the solution in your verse. Very well done girl, I like it.
