Don't know if we will live in a world like that, though to a scientist we are already in it. You capture the bold with the beautiful in the nuance of your thoughts.
Though I'm not a Trekker, I did love the series very much. Spock was a very unique character inside the very unique world. The world could learn from him. Great wordsmithing here, Kate.

Oh, Kate, as a bona fide Trekker, I have to love this piece. However, as a poet, I truly am enchanted by some of your turns of phrase, such as "consumed by the constant tiol of dismantling final frontiers." Now, that I can relate to from my own work, so it was fascinating to read and think about. Your ending is the best, too, "hauling in his cosmic catch." Just lovely! Keep up the great work!
