I could not accept it,
I wouldn’t be beat.

I blockaded the hallway
and rolled up the street;

sealed all the town exits,
de-commissioned the ports,

put a guard on all corners
and alerted the forts.

I collapsed the high mountains
and snuffed out the stars,

then emptied the high seas
and burned all the cars;

I stopped all the clocks,
froze sun and hid moon:

now Moment must come
not a second too soon.
