I love the beat (rhythm), the rhyme, the way it flows and expresses the way things are... ...and yet, it still makes me think of possibilities but then, I do feel a reawakening these days. That was really cool! Reminds me of beat, rather than hip-hop. But then it does have a hip-hop rhythm to it that would get jittery drug addled ravers going nowhere fast.
Perhaps that is our reason for existing; to cope with and come to grips with the ordeal of being alone, for surely that is what we fear most and fantasize most about, even to impossible outcomes like basking at the feet of eternal light (in life we would call that sleep deprivation and torture) or being attended day and night by dozens of virgins (an infantile Paradise) - you poets come very close to resolving the cruelty for the rest of us. Casting laughter, even scornful laughter at our fate strengthens our resolve. Thanks.
