Despised as it is treasured,
Tis Peacemaker’s too-full plate
With problems left unmeasured.

Rare are you, great peacemaker one.
You put all else aside.
You give for others who then shun
Secrets you help to hide.

Much to your lone detriment,
You reap the burden of all.
A million in all for each moment,
A million a moment you fall.

As if this isn’t test enough,
You bear one enemy:
It is Aggressor, whose soul stuff
Finds you lost at sea.

The aggressor holds within
Peacemaker’s true hell.
So what, you ask, relieves the sin?
Just judgment or death’s bell.

Because he/she knows joy
Can come along fast as it went.
