Poem Artwork

Unaffected by the world’s

Trials and tribulations

She sleeps peacefully

Immune to what’s around her

None of her time is

Wasted in moody upheaval

I imagine she somehow knows

Life is too short

So she prances around joyfully

Sharing her loving smile and

Her affectionate kisses

Cast upon all who are

Willing to accept them

And to love her in return

A wonderful "slice of life" poem...filled with meaning.
The picture, of course, is the perfect mate for this.

Like Karen Chalfant...it is my cats that do this.

Sums up my cats perfectly. Life seems more peaceful just being around them...

Humans should all aspire to this kind of love.
How strange it is an insult if one is called a dog or a bitch, when from such comes the most beautiful love. It should be the ultimate compliment.
Still, to be safe, I'll just call you a very special poet who touches hearts in a beautiful way.

I agree.
Their lifes are alot easier than ours. Sleeping, eating, playing, always being loved and taken care of by someone.
Good one.

Anne Mundy ... annemundy ... jeez, girl, you've got such a lilt to your name, in my perspective, the lush succinctness of your words are a suprise, and a joy!

My mom's name is Nancy Ann, my grandparents were Munsons... Anne Mundy. God. Don't you love those snycronizations like that that pop out at you!
