When I first wrote this poem, I was not aware of the truth about Obama, spread by a man who has been labeled a Paranoid Schizophrenic. Due to his touch of insanity, although the rumor spreader studied law and passed the bar exam, he was not granted a license to practice law due to his mental instability. As the truth about this liar was revealed, I researched Obama's past and came to admire Obama. In the end, I voted for him as President of the United States.

O'Bama's playing to a younger crowd, That doesn't quite understand the issues, So if he happens to win, Lord, please pass the tissues, It's not that his admirers are young and ignorant, They haven't faced life as older adults have yet, Mortgage foreclosures and a failing economy, None of which has been addressed by O'Bammy, He focused his efforts on the motto of 'change', And that surely was a huge hit, Then he focused attacks on his opponents, Who focused on his failings, every bit, So he called on Oprah and they hugged on stage, Sending Mrs. O'bama into a furious rage, So he changed tactics based on his advisors, And again focused on the young as his saviors, Then he secured from John Kerry an endorsement, A lying fence-jumper whose war medals are tarnished, Will O'Bama ever be able to recover, From an endorsement that sent him running for cover, Perhaps he'll refocus his efforts on the young, And promise more change when we know there'll be none.
