frozen frosted fingertips cold and chapped blue-tinged lips rosy cheeks and cherry noses little men striking frozen poses fragile flakes and glittering ice in a winter-wonder paradise earth-bound angels lined in a row sparkling diamonds in crusted snow children shriek in awed delight in a world all painted in white with snow-forts and snow-fights hot cocoa and marshmallow nights times we treasured gone too fast time we share now that won't last under blankets or snug in bed thoughts of icicles in young heads visions of angels trapped in snow as off to sleep and dream we go
