Hard to fathom, but...patience saves the day.

When your plans for the day crumble
And your lead feet stumble
When your spouse or lover
Dashes off to be with another
When your disappointments smart
You need to look forward to a new start
And this, mind you, is quite true :
Very often these tough things aren't about
You!

Well written and unfortunately true in some cases. But in these times we must keep our chin up and start anew.

In Wisdom from the Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz, the second agreement is "don't take anything personally." The author writes: "Nothing they think about me is about me; it is about them." To me, this is what your lovely words convey - a truth that if we could all accept, we could live lives with an inherent immunity to being emotionally injured by other people.

And sometimes they are....Being a witness to happenings whent they affect our lives, greatest new insights and maybe even actions, blame is another thing altogher! Many Blessings! Jasmin Horst
