Multiple Sclerosis interfers with the nervous system, which affects electric transmisions in the brain and spine. The mylon sheath that protects nerves becomes frayed or cut off and those areas are damaged or lost.

It's a diagnosis I can't ignore.

Nevertheless, I try to avoid.

But sometimes, unseen symptoms

grab my attention. 

And I realize how easy it is

to deny; 

how difficult to accept.

And so, 

I roam a landscape of reverse.

Its the misfiring of my wiring; 

some crazed physician or

impaired electrician

must have had a hand.

or not.

Convinced of my judgement,

despite reality, 

I open wrong doors with clarity.

To discover, in humility,

I am lost.

Sometimes this attribute 

affords an advantage.

Rolling roads of 

wrong way streets

take me into

alternate worlds 

of possibility.
