An exquisite rendering Carole. The scent of roses, pervasive, filling the heart with love fueling the soul with passion. May peace and love be always with you my dear friend. Jon Michael
Love this, Carole. Perfectly encapsulates the je-ne-sais-quoi of that heavenly lush scent that, yes, gives weight to the bones and an exquisite heaviness that is intoxicatingly love-lorn and latent with longing. xx
I enjoyed reading your lovely poem today, the verses gave a very descriptive version of what she had experienced the hurt and pain
that she can smell when she think about the scent of roses. Well- written poem.
Yep. Been there. Done that. Regrets I've had a few. All those cliches. I used to wonder why most of my memories were bad ones, and I came to think they were because of me. That I was a large part responsible for them, but lately I've come to the conclusion that other people had their share of responsibility for making them bad.
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
thought slipped away...
