A friend and I were talking about Heaven and I told them about this poem  that I wrote in a moment of sadness, as if someone was sending me love and encouragement through the words, of a poem.  They wanted a copy of it, so I decided to share it with anyone who might find comfort in the words.

When you get to Heaven, I'll be there when you arrive,

one step inside the Pearly Gates, you'll really feel alive,

and when I kiss and hold you tight, you know that

everything will be alright.

I'll show you over Heaven as pretty as can be,

and then we'll have a picnic down by the Crystal Sea,

where the grass is always green, and the sky is the

bluest that you've ever seen.

Then we'll walk to the Holy City with gold beneath our feet,

and there we'll see the one we really came to meet,

as as the Angels sing, we'll kneel before the King of

Kings.
