Extracted from a non-constructive dream

musing each note in a futile scream

memories like minnows whisked downstream

moreover melancholy - caught between

Routine replacement (a real non-performer)

stalwart and lockstepped straight to the corner

choosing to obfuscate rather than bore her

escape to aether and relive the horror

Twenty straight times I find I'm just here

pausing to act, to reflect, to revere

Queries unfielded and sadness sans peer

Solemnly weeping, I'll see you next year
