Under the Tongue

Second glances

just like second chances

reveal much

 

Borrowed brevity

hidden beneath levity

forestall touch

 

Mixed metaphors

set above remorse

mandate decision

 

Exhaled parity

disguised as hilarity

with pinpoint precision
