Gladly the rain falls on us Making bountiful harvests Food abundance seen with sweaty brows. Gladly the sun shines With intensity greatly glowering Our landscapes amidst lashing winds. A season of plenty foreseen Our tongue salivating for the coming Increase of our banes filled with Satisfying goodies. A welcome with gyrating dance calls for intimate songs To Him who produces aplenty. (c)~Emeka Chike Nwogu~
