When that feeling hits
It’s a wave washing over me
I sit still
Then, for a moment
A world of flame
My eyes are floating in my head
And all I see is a kaleidoscope of color
Firey Autumn
Snow and milky white icicle fantasies
Lush and lively Spring
With mattresses of petals on floors of moist moss
Then, I’m burning for Summer and love is everything
With scorching, simmering asphalt under my feet
This moment feels like years
And life is washed out of me for each second
That those waves are crashing.

Love the creative way you work with images and thoughts. Great write.
