Our lives are frail enough without having to rush through life.

 

Being Human
by Barbara Lynn Terry

Being human isn't what it is cracked up to be
but it is the only existence we have so we
have to make the best of this fragile life
until we go to our reward in heaven on high.

Being human is full of choices and mistakes
of love, hate, indifference, prejudice and bigotry.
Being human means that there are those
who never learn from their mistakes.

Being human our war mongers say
is expendable in the wars we make.
Being human is how we were born
so make the best of it while you can

nice poem...and being human means the freedom to make spelling mistakes like:
