Man quests to course a universe of stars;
Where black holes run amok: pulsars, quasars.
And each points back to one enormous blast.
Science cries, “Bang big, time began at last.”
Lo these findings are met with great applause,
Still humans seek the first elusive cause.
What source is it above all mortal flaw,
From nothingness created nature’s law.
‘Tis “Better to scope oneself,” wise men have said;
Yet such a task oft fills a soul with dread—
Life seems more than just my simple being;
If God is, ‘twould surely be worth knowing.
What consumes my life like a wanton fire
Is slogging through this irrational mire.
I’ll be no closer than I am today
To final answers when I pass a way.
Morbid ends will always harass my mind.
Passion for truth propels us throughout time.
When death arrives don’t stand around and morn.
In turn, you’ll learn that dying is the norm.
and each line you speak in verse
it is as if your poetry has an accent
and this is really wonderful
