Oh Well

water to drink
dipper submerged
sup at nature's sink
oh well transformed and purged
motivating mouthpiece into worshiped gem

privilege pours forth prophecy
completely different aquifer societies
thirst's sin of improprieties drink sage philosophy
outrage of loss oh well reflections of mirrored impieties
tattered and unraveled in mind dress a monk's frayed hem

a sage in the guise of a change-agent
these contrary characters give us lessons
the witching rod conjures magic oh well sent
laser cut faceting and polishing lapidary sessions
concerned with economics and aesthetics without blem

oh well scent
where did it go
it all went

a shack ago
a season's cocoon
a tree's foe

flower corsage
left at the altar's prank
garden of mirage

oh well
illusion peppered
brings a tear to hell

Lots of illusions and allusions… Perhaps a few delusions. Don't understand but will give you a pass on performance.
