Waterfall
Gracious and graceful as a waterfall,
You slumber on as I go about my morning chores.
The dog at your feet a furry ball
I couldn’t hope for anything more.
You sling one arm overtop her
I am replete with your simple presence
As I wait for you to begin to stir
You keep me in the present tense.
You are my staff, the rudder of my sail
You fire my creativity
With you by my side I cannot fail
Life has no inanity.

Exquisite poetry, very well written.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
The first stanza is silver, the second is gold, and the first line of the last stanza is platinum...
"Waterfall" falls wonders and flows sublimity.
I salute You, Poet!
