Where’s the hoping
Where’s the coping

My Passion Is Dying

by Patrick M. Kennedy
 
My passion is dying
The vultures are vying
Pick his brain
That flowing vein
 
His creative eye socket
Where’s his pocket
My qualities are waning
No quests remaining
 
Where’s the grind
Where’s my mind
Where’s the humor
It’s all a rumor
 
My zest is slowing
The dreams not glowing
Where’s the vision
Where’s allusion
 
It’s become reality
A real fatality
My life is rocking
The joints are locking
 
Where’s the hoping
Where’s the coping
The road divides
So who decides?
