A Little Sad Girl

Next Sunday all will have some to say, with roses, with words, with a little caress.
Wishing not to take your thunder I post it today, a small tribute for little girls and boys that will be carrying other kind of roses...

Little girl
tell me why you are crying
all alone
in the church's crosses garden?

Why the sorrow
that got the tears falling?
and the sobs
from an heart that is aching?

Oh! it is Mother Day
and looking for yours, you are,
in a cold forest made
of stones with engraved names.

Sad little girl...
I can't console you, because,
around here,
I'm only, the Angel of Death.

Wish I had come upon this MOther's Day 2008. But glad anyway I came across it now. Father's day is coming up , so I think I'll visit Dad and Mother's grave too while visiting Tom's too. In fact, it is 96 degrees out, but to Tom's grave I'll go this afternoon. Can't help myself. Sad write but all of us have to go through it. Thanks for the memories too you write about your wife and I enjoy them awfully much.

A touching write indeed! I am among the blessed for I still have my mother with me. I try to enjoy each day that the Lord gives us together. Reminds me too of those whom do not have their mothers here, my grandmother went home to be with the Lord ten years ago this year, I miss her terribly and I know my mom misses her even more. Touching write!
Blessings,

Georg,
This poem touched my heart. My Mother has been with Jesus for many years now, but I miss her as if it were yesterday. She was killed by a hit - run driver when she was only 39. She left 8 kids behind, me being the oldest and so much responsibilty. My Mother was my best friend, Georg. Not having her to talk too has left a big void in my heart. Thank you for this outstanding poem.

Many blessings,
~Linda

This is so very sad, Georg...children should never have to be without the warm comforts of their mothers. Even as an adult, one of my greatest fears is the day that my mother will leave this earth.
Take care,

Now you made me cry Georg...
I miss my mom SO MUCH and I will always be "A Sad Little Girl" no matter how old I get!

I remember the last Mother's day my mom was with us...
...every year was a special celebration for her. We would all meet at a very nice place to eat and share stories with her and bring her gifts, perfectly chosen.
But, the last Mother's day, she was too sick to join us at the restuarant. We all wanted to come to her, but she insisted we still keep the reservation. We were all there but mom wasn't. I couldn't wait to leave...
I didn't want to face another Mother's day like that EVER, without her at the table, but I had to! Mom died two days later...
Mom knew...and I guess she wanted us to realize what we didn't want to...
Some days are easier than others...huh?
Love and Peace~
