Within every person lies a battle
A struggle deep down inside
The constant fight for inner peace
Turmoil seems to forever abide.
The only way to win this battle
Is written in the book of life
The answer lies within the pages
That will take away the strife.
This fight we cannot win alone
Focus must be on the one above
He will take away all the pain
And bring lasting peace like a dove.
The prince of peace patiently waits
For all to seek his loving care
The battle has been won for us
And his love we all must share!
On the cross he died for our peace
And the battle has been won
The turmoil no longer lies within
As we look to Jesus, God’s Son!
