Children deserve a loving caring home with parents who care.
The home was established many years ago As the foundation of life ‘till the end of time Plainly written, the word of God makes it so The moral law and to be honored as sublime!
The home was central for all life’s teaching To be honest and learn right from wrong. Parent’s influence of Love to be far reaching Which was also shared in many words of song!
The home has forsaken what it was meant to be Little hearts and minds are no longer taught, And must face the storms of life on a raging sea, Sadly in all of life’s struggles they are caught!
The time is at hand to bring back the home And establish again what was meant to be Where children can dwell with no need to roam But with parent’s love and secure safety!

This is a well written and very poignant poem for our time. I am a teacher of children with emotional difficulties-I believe if the home were stronger as your poem states, these children would not be so lost. I am glad I stopped by your site
I agree- alot of people do not face this fast because things are more important to this society than souls and minds. It is a sad situation, and I hope it turns around back to this for the next generation- this is great, thanks for sharing it.
