Full Circle

 FULL CIRCLE

 I met the world
with open heart,
and wide-eyed
wonder at its
beauty ...

 But immediately
growing pains,
money, duty...
dimmed the
inner light.

 Now, after
more than half
a century, my life
approaching night,
again I see as
an innocent.

 In maturity,
wonder anew…
am I gradually
circling to
enlightenment?
